1. What is Airsoft?

Airsoft is a sport played by people of all ages and genders. It is based around the airsoft gun, which fires an airsoft BB (ball bearing). Whether that be through gas, electric or spring propulsion. 

Airsoft is played at hundreds of airsoft sites around the UK, and is very popular in a lot of countries all over the world. The game of Airsoft is similar to paintball, where there is an objective given and to get that objective it involves shooting other players with the specialist guns to try and attain the given objective, some games are just simply kill (shoot) the whole other team.

2. How old do I need to be to buy an airsoft gun?

The law legally requires anyone wanting to purchase of a RIF (realistic imitation firearm) or IF (imitation firearm) to be 18 and over. 

3. What is "gifting a gun" ?

Having a gun gifted to you is where someone buys the gun with their own money and gives it to you as a gift. This means that no money must be exchanged or services for the gun as it is a gift, if any money or services are exchanged for that RIF or IF it is still selling the gun. The original buyer of the RIF or IF must be 18 or over.
